THE Glens took the lead after eight minutes when Aimee Kerr curled a superb 25-yard free-kick beyond the Derry keeper.

The hosts then doubled their advantage deep into first-half stoppage time.

A cross from the right was spilled, allowing Jess Foy to react quickest and fire home from close range to make it 2-0 at the break.

Glentoran struck again immediately after the restart as Mia Moore picked up possession 30 yards out, cut inside and produced a stunning finish into the top corner.

Derry City pulled one back on 61 minutes through Rachel McIntyre, but Glentoran remained in control to see out the contest comfortably and secure all three points.
