LARNE Women have announced the return of Leah Wilgaus to Inver Park ahead of the 2025 Sports Direct Premiership season.
Leah originally joined the team in October 2022 from Crusaders Strikers, playing an important role in the team’s first season in the Women’s Premiership, scoring in the Inver Women’s first ever top-flight win away to Derry City.
After a season in the Premiership, she made the switch to the Bluebell Stadium, signing for Lisburn Ladies in July 2024, but is now back at the club.
Leah had this to say about her return: “I’m buzzing to be back at Larne. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
Women’s first team manager Daniel Carlisle welcomed Leah back to the squad, highlighting the quality she brings: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Leah back to the club.
“She is a fantastic talent with the skill, mentality, and experience that will add real strength to our squad, and we believe she fits perfectly into our playing style and philosophy.
