LARNE continued their unbeaten run in the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League as they drew 1-1 with Banbridge.

The result sees the Inver side continue their best run of the season as they are now five games without defeat in the division.

Anna McRoberts got her second goal of the season for the hosts, whilst Stef Ardis got her sixth goal in five games as the sides had to settle for a point each.

After a fourth successive draw, Larne remain seventh in the division, five points behind opponents Banbridge.

Lurgan moved to within two points of the EYHL2 qualification places as they beat Ballymoney 1-0.

The win sees Lurgan move level on points with Mossley and just two points behind Belfast Harlequins, of whom they have played two fewer games than.

Andy Brown’s side sealed the win with a first goal of the season from Danielle Ervine and have now picked up seven points from their last three league games.

Following their narrow defeat, Ballymoney remain ninth in the division, two points behind Armagh who they still have to play twice this season.

Elsewhere, Lisnagarvey bounced back from their midweek loss to Mossley, as they beat Omagh 1-0 at Comber Road.

Prior to their defeat on Wendesday evening, Garvey were unbeaten in five league games and had only lost once since matchday four.

Following just their fourth league defeat of the season, a Rebecca Acheson strike saw the side make an immediate return to winning ways with her first goal of the season.

Meanwhile Omagh remain winless this campaign as they suffered an eighth consecutive loss.
