Ards Women set sights on 15th title in a row as Antrim Forum hosts Ulster Hockey’s 2026 Senior Indoor Championships

ARDS Women are going for an incredible 15th successive title as Ulster Hockey’s 2026 Senior Indoor Championships get underway this weekend with two days of action taking place at the Antrim Forum.

The men’s section kicks off on Saturday, before the women play their opening weekend on Sunday.

In the men’s section, Belfast Harlequins, Banbridge and Lisnagarvey are all set to be in action for the second season in a row alongside reigning champions Cookstown.

The action gets underway from 09:30am.

On Sunday, the women’s section gets underway with Portadown taking on local hosts Antrim at 09:30am.

The competition is also set to feature Randalstown, Coleraine, Queen’s University and Ards, who are looking to continue their dominance in the competition.

The record winners get their title defence underway with a meeting against Queen’s University at 11:00am before also taking on Antrim and Portadown in week one of the competition.

This weekend’s full schedules are as follows:

Men: Saturday

09:30am – Cookstown vs Belfast Harlequins

10:20 – Lisnagarvey vs Banbridge

11:40 – Cookstown vs Banbridge

12:30pm – Lisnagarvey vs Belfast Harlequins

13:50 – Lisnagarvey vs Cookstown

14:40 – Banbridge vs Belfast Harlequins

Women: Sunday

09:30am – Portadown vs Antrim

10:15 – Randalstown vs Coleraine

11:00 – Queen’s University vs Ards

11:45 – Coleraine vs Portadown

12:30pm – Ards vs Antrim

13:15 – Queen’s University vs Randalstown

14:00 – Portadown vs Ards

14:45 – Coleraine vs Queen’s University
