All the winners from Netball NI Schools Cup Finals day at Lisburn Racquets Club… report and picture gallery

SENIOR CUP RUNNERS UP, WALLACE

NETBALL Northern Ireland hosted a fantastic day of Schools Cup Finals at Lisburn Racquets Club, bringing together the top school teams from across the country to compete for silverware across Intermediate and Senior competitions.

Spectators were treated to a full schedule of high quality netball, with strong performances, competitive matchups and excellent displays of teamwork and skill across all finals.

The day began with the Intermediate Shield and Plate Finals, followed by the Intermediate Cup Final and Senior Shield. Attention then turned to the Senior Plate and Bowl Finals, before the day concluded with an exciting Senior Cup Final.

Intermediate Results

In the Intermediate Shield Final, Portadown College delivered a strong performance to secure a 27–6 victory over Grosvenor, umpired by Megan Baxter and Debra Devlin.

The Intermediate Plate Final saw Wallace High School B claim the title with a 24–19 win against St Joseph’s, umpired by Wannita Broom and Jacqueline McKeown.

The Intermediate Cup Final produced a high quality contest, with Dominican College emerging as champions following a 40–30 win over Our Lady’s Grammar School, Newry. The match was umpired by Sonya Thomson and Leeann McWilliams.

Senior Results

In the Senior Shield Final, Regent House secured the win with a 24–18 victory over Banbridge Academy B, umpired by Jacqueline McKeown and Betty Wilson.

Dromore claimed the Senior Plate title after a 33–19 win against Down High School, umpired by Megan Baxter and Wannita Broom.

St Dominic’s Grammar School were crowned Senior Bowl champions following a 41–26 win over Glenlola Collegiate, umpired by Grainne Mackle and Sonya Thomson.

The day concluded with a thrilling Senior Cup Final, where Belfast Royal Academy were crowned champions after defeating Wallace High School 37–32. The final was umpired by Grainne Mackle and Leeann McWilliams.

Netball Northern Ireland would like to thank all umpires and officials for their professionalism and commitment, which ensured the smooth running and high standard of play across the event.

A special thank you to all players, coaches, schools, volunteers and supporters who made the day such a success. The atmosphere throughout Lisburn Racquets Club reflected the strength and passion within schools netball across Northern Ireland.
