CONGRATULATIONS to Greenisland Women, newly-crowned NIWFA Division 1 champions.
Greenisland clinched the title in a late, late show, securing the point they needed in a 1-1 home draw with Ballymoney Utd Women with a penalty equaliser in time added on.
Ballymoney took the lead in the first half just after nine minutes and even though Greenisland came out fighting in the second half, they were almost denied until a penalty award in the ninth minute of injury time.
Up stepped Erin McCauley to put the ball in the back of the net to earn a draw and seal Division 1 Championship.
