THE 33rd O’Neills Foyle Cup football fiesta is underway across counties Derry, Tyrone and Donegal.
Twenty thousand young footballers, representing 1,000 boys’ and girls’ teams from here at home and across the world, will play around 3,700 matches over the course of the week.
Before the action got underway, they were cheered through the streets of Derry city centre in the traditional opening parade.
This year’s tournament was pushed back a week to avoid a clash with The Open taking place in Portrush.
