HOLDERS Ballymoney United will travel to Ballyclare Ladies in the third round of the LocalWomenSport.com Supercup.

The draw for the next stage of the NI Women’s FA competition also produced a tie of the round in Carrick Rangers Falcons v Lisbellaw, first and second respectively in Division Two of the NIWFA leagues.

Championship sides entered the competition at this stage for the Windsor Park draw.

Fifteen teams were initially included in the draw.

However, following an administrative review, a 16th team, Camlough, were added to the fixtures list and will play Valley Rangers who were initially awarded a bye.

A spokesperson for the NIWFA said: “We apologise for this administrative oversight and appreciate both Valley Rangers and Camlough for accommodating the amendment. We’re glad the issue was identified and resolved promptly, allowing all parties to make the necessary preparations for the fixture.”

Lisbellaw and Coleraine progressed from the previous round with byes after their respective opponents, Civil Service Ladies and Castle Ladies, withdrew.

A third cup tie forfeit by Civil Service Ladies means they are now expelled from the NIWFA leagues, where they played in Division 6, under a three strikes and you’re out rule.

All their previous league results this season are now void.

For Bangor side Castle, it was a first forfeit, meaning their status is unaffected. They opted out of their scheduled tie against Coleraine as it would have meant playing on consecutive days.
