TEAMS from north and south took part in another hugely successful Ladies Annual Social Soccer Tournament, hosted by Newry-based Ashgrove Social Soccer Ladies at Newry Showgrounds.
As always, the emphasis was on fun, friendship and enjoyment with the Ashgrove Ladies again honoured to be part of the growing ‘social soccer’ scene with more women’s teams now participating in the sport.
Special guest, Geraldine Kearns, deputy chair of Newry and Mourne Council set the ball rolling with a ceremonial kick off and later handed out the day’s awards (below).
