Match of the Day host Gabby Logan headlines Belfast conference of female leaders from the worlds of sport and business… report and picture gallery

GABBY Logan, one of the UK’s most influential figures in sport and broadcast media, captivated a Belfast audience of female leaders from sport and business as headline speaker at an Impact Players Conference at the ICC Waterfront in Belfast on Tuesday, May 13.

This game-changing event brought together female leaders, visionaries, and changemakers from the worlds of business and sport, designed to inspire bold leadership and empower attendees to take their careers and impact to the next level.

Gabby Logan, renowned sports broadcaster, Match of the Day host, podcast host of The Mid Point, and champion for elevating women in sport, shared her unique journey and insights into breaking barriers and creating meaningful change.

“This conference was for those who want to think bigger, lead stronger, and create lasting impact,” said Sinead Sharkey-Steenson, co-founder of Impact Players with business partner Lisa Strutt.

“Whether you’re an ambitious woman in business, a leader in sport, or simply someone looking to level up, this event provided an opportunity to learn from some of the most inspiring voices in their fields.”

Following Gabby onto the stage were an incredible line up of speakers, including Belfast’s Claire Curran, former Wimbledon tennis player and coach of the GB Billie Jean King Cup team (which includes Emma Raducanu), Olympians Danielle Hill and Jessie Barr and football coach Gail Redmond.

Communities Minister Gordon Lyons was also in attendance.
