
ULSTER clubs provide half the players on the 22-strong Ireland U16 and U18 girls’ Pathway squads with Portadown the dominant force, reflecting their season performances to date in league and cups.
The Ports provide six out of 11 Ulster players to the U18s, including Ulster Premier League top scorer, Evie Girvan, and five out of 12 to the U16s, including recent All Ireland league debutante, Briana Gregg.
Pegasus and Ulster Elks each have two players in the U18s with the other Ulster representative coming from Mossley.
Portadown’s five in the U16s are joined by two from Coleraine and one each from Armagh, CI, Mossley, Banbridge and Ards.
The squads travel to Lilleshall to play England for a series of games from February 18-20.
