TWO Ulster girls U18 squads will travel with their male counterparts to Loughborough University to compete in the 2024 UK School Games, starting on Thursday, August 29.
The competition will see the Ulster sides compete against teams from England and Wales to be crowned UK champions.
The games are set to get underway on Thursday afternoon with both Ulster Red sides in action against England at 3:30pm.
The opening ceremony for the event will take place later that evening before both Ulster White teams get their tournament started on Friday.
Matches will be streamed live on the UK School Games YouTube channel.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Ulster U18 Girls Coach Suzanne Evans said: “Following a very successful series against the Hockey Mentors from England, the UK School Games is another excellent platform for Interprovincial preparation.
“The UKSG is an enormous event providing invaluable experience for our talented athletes to play against the best of England and Wales.
“We are looking forward to travelling as a large squad of players and management and hope to reap the benefits of this opportunity together both on and off the pitch.”
