WHAT a night!
A self-defence taster session at the Whistledown Hotel in Newry absolutely smashed it with a fantastic turnout and unstoppable energy in aid of the local Life & Time charity.
Under the expert, and entertaining, guidance of Paul Devenny from Enviro Group and his brilliant assistant Niall McPoland, this was an evening packed with practical techniques, real-world awareness skills, and, most importantly, plenty of laughs.
These two legends volunteered their time to deliver a session that left everyone walking taller, feeling stronger, and buzzing with confidence.
Best of all? Every donation from the session, along with sponsorship from a group of 50 runners taking part in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon, goes straight to supporting the incredible work of the Life & Time charity, a community based and funded Responsive Nursing Service which provides care and support (additional to that already provided by NHS and Voluntary sector) for adults at or near end of life in the Newry and Mourne area.
