QUICKFIRE early goals from Jenna McCarlie and Jodie Simmons sent Queen’s on their way to victory in the Women’s EYHL Ulster derby.
Their two goals in the opening five minutes were enough for Queen’s to take the win and stay within a point of the league leaders.
Erin Pim replied for Pegasus.
Serena Campuzano was on target twice as Portadown recorded a win over Catholic Institute after making the long journey to Limerick to stay in the top half of the table.
Second half goals for Railway Union helped them surpass Ulster Elks and stay top of the table, while Loreto continued their unbeaten start to keep pace with a game in hand.
UCD came out on the winning end of a very close encounter with Pembroke Wanderers, Milla Fulton’s game separating the sides.
