RETURNING to a training and fitness routine after summer holidays in September can be both exciting and challenging. Here are some advice and tips to help you get back on track and make the most out of your fitness journey:

1. **Start Slow**: It’s important to ease back into your routine to avoid injuries. Begin with lighter workouts and gradually increase the intensity and duration as your body adjusts.

2. **Set Realistic Goals**: Define clear and achievable fitness goals for yourself. Whether it’s improving endurance, building strength, or losing weight, having specific targets will keep you motivated.

3. **Mix Up Your Workouts**: Keep your routine interesting by incorporating a variety of exercises. Try different types of workouts like cardio, strength training, yoga, or swimming to prevent boredom and work different muscle groups.

4. **Stay Hydrated**: Proper hydration is essential for optimal performance and recovery. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your workouts to stay hydrated and energised.
