THE group stages of the Women’s All-Island Cup concluded with Glentoran Women progressing to the last eight of the competition while Lisburn Rangers travelled to Dublin to defeat Shamrock Rovers.
Linfield Women lost narrowly away to Bohemians while Cliftonville Ladies battled to a scoreless draw with Peamount United.
Glentoran made the long journey to Limerick to share the spoils with Treaty United and finish top of Group D.
Isabella Flocchini fired United in front on 28 minutes, but Mia Moore levelled for the Glens just the other side of the half-hour mark.
Demi Vance then edged the visitors in front from the spot four minutes after that before Madelyn Robbins equalised for the home side in first half stoppage time to ultimately complete the scoring.
It was a bittersweet afternoon for Lisburn Rangers after they travelled to the Tallaght Stadium to defeat Shamrock Rovers in Group B only to exit the competition on goal difference.
Although scoreless at the break, Rangers did rattle the crossbar early in the game while Rovers had an effort ruled out offside and hit the woodwork themselves.
The deadlock was eventually broken just before the hour when Anastasija Stanyte, assisted by Niamh O’Donnell, edged the visitors in front.
And they made sure of a famous victory with just over ten minutes remaining after Gracie Conway, from an Ellie-Mae Dickson ball, doubled their lead.
In Group A, Linfield went down to a stoppage time goal to Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
Lisa Murphy opened the scoring for the Bohs on ten minutes but Zoe McGlynn hit back for Linfield eight minutes after that.
Bohemians squandered the opportunity to regain the advantage just before the break when Alannah McEvoy failed to convert from the spot, but they did find the winner a minute into added time through Savannah Kane.
In the evening kick-off, Cliftonville and Peamount United ended scoreless at Solitude, with the visitors coming closest to finding a way through when Reds keeper Rachel Norney turned an effort against an upright midway through the second half.
