NOTHERN Ireland WU17s boss Gail Redmond has chosen a 20-strong panel for the tournament, which is being hosted by the Irish FA next month.

Larne’s Inver Park, The Showgrounds in Coleraine and the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast will all be hosting matches in the eight-team festival of women’s football in the first half of May.

Northern Ireland are set to come up against England, Norway and Germany in Group A, while Group B features Spain, France, Poland and Finland. All group games are being played in either Larne or Coleraine.

Redmond’s team will begin their quest for WU17 Euros glory against England in Larne next Monday (May 4) at 3.00pm.

On Thursday, May 7 they will face Norway at Coleraine Showgrounds (6.00pm) and then it’s back to Inver Park in Larne for a game against Germany on Sunday, May 10 (3.00pm).

The top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-finals, which are due to be played at the National Stadium on Thursday, May 14.

The final of WU17 Euro 2026 is pencilled in for Sunday, May 17 at the National Stadium (6.00pm).

The semi-finalists automatically qualify for the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. The two third-placed teams in groups A and B at WU17 Euro 2026 will play off on May 14 for Europe’s fifth berth at that tournament.
