Rebekah Lennon named Player of the Tournament as Portadown College hit six to finish undefeated runners up in All Ireland Schools Hockey Kate Russell Cup

PORTADOWN College won their final match of the Schools Hockey All Ireland Kate Russell Cup with a resounding 6-0 scoreline against Coláiste Iognáid.

An earlier 0-0 draw added to a win and draw on the opening day, means they remained undefeated through the tournament and finish second to overall winners, Crescent College, Limerick.

Although victory eluded them on this occasion, the vast majority of the Portadown team will still be eligible for the 2025-2026 season.

Earlier, Portadown did everything but score in a 0-0 stalemate against Loreto Beaufort.
