BALLYMENA United Ladies lifted the first trophy of the year in girls’ football, winning the Conveyortek Lisburn & Castlereagh Junior League Shield at the Bluebell Stadium with a 2-1 victory over Pheonix Flame. Ballymena scorers were Brooke McCartney with a penalty and Orla Lemon while Sarah Meenan was on target for Phoenix with a penalty.
