RAINEY and Lisburn will meet in the final of the women’s rugby Suzanne Fleming Shield. Rainey booked their place with a 10-0 win over Portadown while Lisburn were emphatic 60-0 winners over Ophir Women.
Ballymena are still waiting to discover who they will face in the Suzanne Fleming Cup final.
Ballymena had a comfortable 60-0 home win over Championship B side Queens University 2XV in their semi-final. The hotly anticipated Virginia v Clogher Valley semi unfortunately succumbed to the weather and will have to be re-arranged.
In the Energia All Ireland women’s league, Cooke have swapped places with Ballincollig after beating the Cork side 29-17, moving up to 8th in the 10-team division.
Cooke try scorers were Niamh Marley, Enya Hughes 2, Molly Boyd, Katie Gilmour with two conversions by Amanda Morton.
