In the Women’s EYHL2, Portadown and Muckross secured comfortable wins over Cork Harlequins Greenfields respectively, with the results finalising the three play-off teams from Pool A as Portadown, Monkstown and Muckross.
In Pool B, Corinthian reversed their defeat to Queen’s University, returning to St Columba’s with a 1-0 win, and University of Galway and Ashton had to settle for a 2-2 draw in their encounter.
Loreto and Railway Union booked their place in the Women’s AIG Irish Senior Cup with wins over Catholic Institute and UCD respectively.
Railway were dominant in their encounter with Inst, needing just a single goal to progress.
Loreto had a fight on their hands against college, but a Rachel Kelly hat-trick and goal from Síofra O’Brien helped them overcome UCD.
