IT’S level pegging at the top of the Legacy Wealth Management Ulster Premier Hockey League after Portadown won their game in hand, 5-1 at home to Ballymoney.
Goals from Bethany Harper (2), Lara Wilson (2) and Annie Gordon, with Koren Ferguson on target for Ballymoney, saw Portadown join leaders and reigning champions Queen’s on points at the top and with the same goal difference.
Both have 35 points from 13 games played and both have a goal difference of 43. Portadown sit in top spot by virtue of goals scored.
At this rate, it could take a slide rule to decide the eventual title destination.
