Northern Ireland star Megan Bell signs for Nottingham Forest Women from Rangers, joining three international team mates at the City Ground

NORTHERN Ireland midfielder Megan Bell has joined Nottingham Forest Women from Rangers on a permanent deal until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Bell arrives at The City Ground having previously played for Hearts, Linfield and Championship side Durham.

The move sees Bell reunite with Northern Ireland team mates Caragh Hamilton, Casey Howe and Nat Johnson at Forest who play in the FA Women’s Premier League Premier Division.

Nottingham Forest Women Head Coach, Carly Davies, said: “Megan is an experienced international with tremendous potential. She has impressed us with her technical ability and attacking prowess from midfield areas.

“She has the ability to unlock defences with clever combinations, through passes and an eye for goal.

“I look forward to supporting her development and seeing how far we can develop her. Megan is an exciting young prospect with an exceptionally bright future.”

Upon signing, Bell added: “It means a lot to sign for Forest, it’s a massive club with massive ambition so I’m delighted to be here.

“I think I’m a very attack-minded player and I’d like to think I can make things happen; hopefully I can bring a bit of excitement with some goals and assists.”
