NORTHERN Ireland netball Warriors are facing into a 3rd/4th place play off on Sunday after Welsh Feathers cruised to a comfortable 64-45 win in their second game in the inaugural Celtic Cup.
Feathers impressed from the outset in Glasgow, leading 17-12 at the end of the first quarter before extending their advantage to 32-18 at half time.
And they were largely untroubled in the second half to claim a second successive win having beaten Scotland 58-56 in their tournament opener.
Northern Ireland are winless from their two opening fixtures of the competition after losing 54-46 to Zimbabwe Gems in their first group match.
Wales round off the group stage against Zimbabwe Gems on Saturday (14:00 GMT). Scottish Thistles take on Northern Ireland Warriors in their final group fixture at 16:00 GMT on the same day.
The third and fourth place play-off between the bottom two sides gets under way at 12:00 GMT on Sunday.The top two teams will meet in the final two hours later.
