PORTUGAL secured top spot in Group B3 with a 2-1 victory over Northern Ireland at Mourneview Park.
Lauren Wade opened the scoring for Northern Ireland after just five minutes before Francisca Nazareth‘s header levelled the game.
Andreia Norton was superb this evening and scored the winner on the 30-minute-mark when she dispossessed Joely Andrews with her deflected effort finding the back of the net.
Northern Ireland had few chances to find an equaliser but did come close in the final few minutes when Emily Wilson charged into the box, but Ana Borge cleared the danger.
