In the Women’s EYHL, Portadown made a statement in their first game in the topflight, beating Ulster Elks in their own backyard.
Reigning champions Loreto left it until the second half to secure a win away to Catholic Institute. UCD came out on top of their college clash with Queen’s University.
Railway Union cruised to a 3-0 win at home to Old Alex. Pegasus versus Pembroke finished in a scoreless draw, with the home team Pegasus taking the bonus point, 2:1 in the shootout.
