CONGRATULATIONS to Waringstown Women 1st XI on winning the NCU Gallagher Women’s Challenge Cup at Wallace Park, Lisburn, defeating Holywood Women 1st XI by 8 wickets in their 20 over game.
Holywood were bowled out for a total of 70 with Waringstown going in to lift the trophy with the loss of only two wickets, scoring 72/2.
The Villagers’ Naomi Matthews was named Player of the Match. Naomi took three wickets for 15 runs.
Result: Waringstown Women 1st XI won by 8 wickets
