CRUSADERS Strikers powered to a 7-1 victory over Larne Women in the VBET Women’s League Cup at Inver Park.
Jessica McGuinness opened the scoring for the visitors as early as the second minute, with Michelle McDaid doubling up just a few minutes after that.
Ella Parker reduced the deficit after getting in behind the defence on nine minutes but Darcie McNeill restored Strikers’ two-goal advantage just after the half-hour mark from the spot.
Substitute Maureen Quinn added another for the Crues on 62 minutes, with McNeill then converting her second penalty of the evening a quarter-of-an-hour after that.
Jessica Rea got on the scoresheet for number six with 10 minutes remaining before McDaid doubled her tally for the evening in the closing minutes.
