MEGAN Bell was awarded Player of the Match for the first time after Northern Ireland’s impressive victory against Bosnia- Herzegovina.
Speaking after the game, Bell stated; “I think we dealt with it well, slowed the game down when he needed to, and got goals at important times. If you stick to what you’ve been doing all week you will get your rewards, and I think this game proved that.
“Scoring for your country is the greatest privilege and we’ve been working on the exact situation I scored from, and thankfully I was able to go at the right time.
“I don’t think I score enough goals, but hopefully I can take this into the rest of the games in the campaign.”
