Manchester United completed a memorable Girls’ double at the Budget Energy SuperCupNI as they lifted both the Junior and Premier titles.
Four goals from Coco St Vall inspired the Red Devils to a convincing victory over Surf Select in the Girls’ Junior final before United’s Premier side rounded off the day by defeating holders Shamrock Rovers on penalties to claim the title.
The Dublin side, who beat Brighton & Hove Albion in last year’s final, were involved in another tightly contested encounter as neither side could find a breakthrough during the 70 minutes.
United held their nerve from the penalty spot, winning the shoot-out 4-3 to secure the Premier crown and complete a memorable day for the club.
Aston Villa made amends for last year’s Globe final disappointment by defeating IL Heming 3-2. All five goals came in a thrilling first half as the Premier League side edged out the Norwegian newcomers to lift the trophy.
Northern Ireland ensured they would finish the tournament with silverware after defeating Liverpool 2-0 in the Vase final. After a goalless first half, Grace Guest and Charley McMullan struck after the break to secure victory for the 2023 champions.
It was an all-American affair in the Bowl final as Desert Empire Surf claimed a 4-2 victory over Chicago City.

The forward was in sparkling form, giving the Red Devils a two-goal advantage by the break before completing her four-goal haul in the second half as United lifted the Junior trophy for the second year in-a-row.
Linfield came out on top in a five-goal thriller against Peamount United in the Globe final thanks to a double from Maisie Hobson and another goal from Nicole Strickland.
Cliftonville were victorious in the Bowl final as goals from Sophia McNicholl and a double from Lilianna McKeown sealed a 3-0 win over Glentoran.
Crusaders completed the Girls’ Junior honours list as goals from Daisy Peoples and Eva Dunlop secured a 2-0 victory over Kilmarnock in the Vase final.
