Group A
Linfield Women 5-0 Sligo Rovers
Linfield Women swept to a comprehensive victory over Sligo Rovers to finish second in Group A and book their place in the last eight.
Sophie McKnight opened the scoring in the 28th minute, lifting Zoe McGlynn’s long pass over the advancing goalkeeper.
The Blues doubled their advantage just two minutes later when Megan Bell finished confidently after a clever lay-off from Cora Chambers.
Sligo’s task became even more difficult four minutes into the second half when Sydney Stephens was sent off following a challenge on McGlynn.
Chambers added a third from the penalty spot in the 55th minute after McGlynn had been brought down in the area.
McKnight struck again with 16 minutes remaining, producing a near-identical finish to her opener by lifting the ball over the goalkeeper from a tight angle, before Rhianna Breen completed the scoring after converting the rebound from Eve Reilly’s saved effort.

Cliftonville responded before the break through Victoria Carleton, who bundled the ball home after a corner caused problems inside the Cork City penalty area.
The Reds continued to press after the restart and cut the deficit further when Anna Rose Robinson diverted Kelsie Burrows’ cross beyond the goalkeeper.
Lynch thought she had equalised with eight minutes remaining only for her effort to be ruled out for offside but, deep into added time, Louise McDaniel flicked on a delivery into the box and Lynch rounded the keeper before slotting home to spark celebrations and secure the point Cliftonville needed to progress.
