DANIELLE Maxwell has become the latest Northern Ireland international to make a full-time cross channel move, transferring from Cliftonville to Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
Danielle progressed through Glentoran’s Academy ranks and achieved her breakthrough into the first team in 2019. Having been capped by Northern Ireland at the youth level, she was also named on the bench for the senior side during the Euro 2022 qualifying play-off victory against Ukraine. Ahead of the 2022 season, Danielle made the move to Cliftonville, making 35 appearances and scoring a total of 16 goals.
The 21-year-old was named the 2023 Sports Direct Women’s Premiership Player of the Year after an incredible 2023 season with Cliftonville.
We wish Danielle every success on the next stage of her football journey.
