DERRY’S Hollybush Primary School took the Girls’ team award in the North West round of the Flahavan’s Primary Schools Cross Country League at Oakgrove College. Second were Broadbridge PS and third, Eglinton PS.
The Girls’ team race saw Sadhbh Callan (Broadbridge) finish first with Maeve O’Donnell (Hollybush) second and schoolmate Maria Devine third.
In the Girls’ Fun Run category, Aoife O’Donnell (Hollybush) took first place followed by Freya Walker (St Patrick’s PS, Derry) in second with Caoimhe Walsh (Hollybush) in third.
