NADENE Caldwell and Gracie Conway put the Glens two-goals to the good before the 40th minute at the Blanchflower Stadium before Cora Chambers pulled a goal back for the Blues a minute before the break.
It was a tight affair in the second half before Jess Foy made sure of the win when she netted the third on 79 minutes.
The Glens came into the game on the back of three wins out of three and started off in confident fashion.
That bright start paid off as Caldwell fired the hosts in front with 21 minutes gone.
It got even better for Glentoran five minutes before the break as Conway doubled their lead.
But a minute before the half-time whistle the Blues gave themselves a lifeline as Cora Chambers reduced the deficit.
It was nip and tuck for most of the second half with both sides creating chances to add to their tally.
With 11 minutes to go the home side made sure of the win as captain Foy added the third
