Glentoran Women close gap on leaders Cliftonville with 3-0 victory over Lisburn Rangers in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership

GOALS from Jessica Foy (2) and Sarah Tweedie earned Glentoran Women a 3-0 win over Lisburn Rangers to move within three points of Sports Direct Women’s Premiership leaders Cliftonville on the same number of games played.

Skipper Foy opened the scoring for the defending champions with a fine individual effort on 38 minutes before doubling the lead 10 minutes after the break with a superbly struck volley.

Sarah Tweedie then added a third for the Glens midway through the second half when she got the final touch following a goalmouth scramble.
