ST Mary’s University College, Belfast are seeking entries and sponsors for their Annual Golf Classic on Friday, November 1 at Dungannon Golf Club, a fundraiser for the college sports teams, across Gaelic games, netball, soccer and Dance teams.
Sport at St Mary’s is a key part of the student’s time at the College. Playing sport has helped develop the talent of many young athletes down the decades and to the present day. It has also developed them as people who will go on to promote and be involved in sport in later life thereby helping other young people.
St Mary’s has always been relatively small in comparison to other third level institutions competing in inter-varsity games and does not benefit from significant financial backing which may be available to others.
The format of the day will be a four-ball team event (£180 per team) with the best two scores, at every hole counted to decide the prize winners.
There will also be prizes awarded for nearest the pin, the longest drive, and a golfing goody bag for each participant. The golf event will be followed by a meal and a prize-giving ceremony in the Clubhouse.
Packages available are:
• Corporate Sponsor of event (Includes complimentary round of golf, 2 -course meal & wine for four people, with promotional advertising opportunities): £500
• Corporate Sponsor (Excludes Golfing Experience): £300.
• Enter a four-ball team, includes meal and Golfing Goody Bag: £180.
Sponsor a tee box: £100
