Final countdown is on for VBet Women’s League Cup decider between Cliftonville Ladies and Lisburn Rangers

Up for the Cup... Helen Parker and Erin McGreevey (Lisburn Rangers), Kelsie Burrows and Abbie Magee (Cliftonville Ladies)

THE stage is set for the VBet Women’s League Cup Final with tickets being snapped up fast for the Sunday, June 30 showdown between holders Cliftonville Ladies and newly promoted Lisburn Rangers for the first silverware of the NIFL women’s season.

The eagerly anticipated final will be played at Blanchflower Stadium in Belfast with a 3.00pm kick-off.

As part of the NI Football League’s new partnership with DAZN, the final will also be available to watch live and on demand across the world on the Global Home of Women’s Football.

Last season Caitlin McGuinness was the hero for the Reds, as she scored a hat-trick for Cliftonville Ladies to overcome Sion Swifts Ladies at Stangmore Park to bring the Women’s League Cup back to North Belfast for the first time!

For Lisburn Rangers, following promotion from the NIFWA Championship to the Sports Direct Premier, this will be their first senior final and they will be looking to cause an upset against an experienced Cliftonville side, who are competing in their third consecutive League Cup final.

Tickets are now available online from www.nifootballleague.com/tickets priced at £4 for adults and £1 for Under 16’s.
