Queen's goal celebration

QUEEN’S University produced a storming finish, coming from 2-0 down, to draw 2-2 in the battle of the newly promoted EY All Ireland hockey league sides and Edenvilla.

Late goals from Jodie Simmons  and and Eva Gaston penalty corner cancelled out first half Portadown scores from Evie Girvan and Annie Gordon with Queen’s  securing a bonus point from the shootout in the process.

Elsewhere, Loreto beat Pegasus at home to continue their perfect start to the campaign while  Ulster Elks righted the ship to beat Catholic Institute in Rosbrien to climb out of the relegation zone.
