THE Northern Ireland Football League proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of women’s football with the launch of the first NIFL Women’s Football Awards, held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Hilton Hotel Belfast.
This prestigious new event shone a spotlight on the exceptional talent, dedication and progress within the women’s game in Northern Ireland.
It recognised excellence both on and off the pitch, honouring individual brilliance, team success and the important contribution of NIFL Women’s Premiership clubs to their communities and to the continued growth of the women’s game.
Hosted by BBC NI Sport broadcaster Nicola McCarthy, the inspiring evening brought together players, coaches, officials and supporters for a night of celebration and entertainment.
