Blues v Glens and Crues v Reds in Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup quarter final draw as Larne defeat Bangor to complete the line up

THE draw for the IFA Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup has produced two big match-ups.

Linfield and Glentoran clash in the tie of the round on August 22 while Crusaders Strikers host holders Cliftonville Women in a north Belfast derby.

Larne were the last team to book a quarter final date, against Ballyclare Comrades Ladies, with a 2-0 win over Bangor to complete the last eight line up.

Player of the Match Rhianna Brady put Larne on their way with a sixth minute goal but the tie wasn’t safe until Eimear Ward added a second two minutes into time added on to the 90.
