Kenya’s Beatrice Jepkemei won the women’s race in the 2-24 Belfast City Marathon, sponsored by Moy Park, in a time of 2:34:03 for the 26.2 mile course, starting at Stormont and finishing in Ormeau Park. Belfast’s Gladys Ganiel was the first local woman home in 2:40:21.
