BALLYCLARE Comrades have announced that their U19 squad will travel to America in the summer to compete in the USA Cup.
15 players and three coaches will be travelling to Minneapolis, Minnesota, from July 16-20 with their games taking place at the National Sports Center.
This is the first time the county Antrim side will compete in the competition which brings together teams from across the world to play in the largest youth soccer tournament in North America. This year 1,200 teams will compete for the distinguished Cup.
The squad has started fundraising to help with the costs of the trip and are hoping for public support ahead of the trip. Event details and ways to help can be found on Ballyclare Comrades’ social medias.
