LISBURN Rangers, Cliftonville, Crusaders and Glentoran will advance to the semi-finals of the League Cup.
Holders Cliftonville defeated Lisburn Ladies 6-0 at the Bluebell Stadium on Friday night. Kirsty McGuinness’ free-kick opened the scoring, with Fi Morgan making it 2-0 on the 24th minute.
Caitlin McGuinness netted twice either side of the break before new signing Carla Devine made it 5-0.
The goals weren’t done there as Caitlin McGuinness steered home Katie Markey’s pass to complete her hat-trick and ensure that it was the Reds who were the comfortable victors.
Elsewhere, last year’s Premiership champions Glentoran also eased their way into the last four with an empathic 8-0 victory over Derry City.
Emily Wilson opened the scoring after just ten minutes before doubling the Glens’ lead on the 22nd minute.
Captain Jess Foy strike from the edge of the box made it 3-0 with Emily Wilson securing her hat-trick just after the interval.
Substitute Kascie Weir made it 5-0 before she scored again in the final ten minutes after goals from Kelly Bailie and Megan Neill.
At Stangmore Park, recently promoted Lisburn Rangers were the comfortable winners against Mid Ulster.
Goals from Daisy Conway, Helen Parker and Sophie Megaw, and a hat-trick from Gracie Conway in the first half gave them a huge 6-0 lead at the break.
Cara Tumelty made it seven before Ellie-Mae netted twice to complete an impressive 9-0 win.
The tightest quarter-final took place on Saturday at Seaview with Crusaders coming from a goal behind to defeat Linfield.
Keri Halliday showed great build-up play before finding the back of the net to give the Blues the lead, but Caitlyn Hamilton levelled the game.
Amy McGivern’s powerful strike from the edge of the box meant that it was Crusaders who advanced to the semi-finals.
