CONGRATULATIONS to Sion Swifts Ladies U15 side as winners of the Armagh Easter Cup, hosted superbly by Armagh City FC.
Over their five tournament games, Swifts scored a total of 15 goals while conceding none!
Placed in a tough group with Lisburn Rangers, Castle Juniors, and Armagh City, Swifts produced some great performances and scored some spectacular goals to come out on top and progress to a semi-final win over Craigavon City and then on to the final against Tristar of Derry!
The Tristar game was tightly contested with Sion winning 2-0 in the end.
The tournament also saw a first outing for Swifts’ brand new kits, generously sponsored by Muldoon Brothers Building Contractors.
