The Newtownards native was awarded the IMC BamBam Scholarship for the 2022 season after her parents noticed the opportunity online.
Since then, she has gone from strength to strength and received an award for Most Improved Female in her first year of racing.
During the BamBam class last year, Ella finished 7th out of 25 competitors and achieved the highest finishing female in the class. The impressive awards didn’t stop there as she also competed in two rounds of the JSM90 class in the British Minibike Championship were she managed five third place finishes out of six races.
This year the 10-year-old will take on a new challenge as she will be competing in the British Minibike Championship in the 110 Ohvale Cup alongside selected rounds of the Irish Minibike Championship.
Ella and her parents hope she can continue to grow in a male-dominated sport and she is currently learning how to ride new bikes and trying out new riding styles.
