Glens-Cliftonville final day title decider on the cards as Sports Direct Women’s Premiership post split fixtures released

A final day title decider between top two, Glentoran and Cliftonville, is on the cards as the NI Football League confirmed the post split fixtures as the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership reaches a dramatic conclusion.

With the regular 14-game campaign wrapping up at the weekend, attention now turns to the final three games of the season as the battle for the destination of the title comes to a head.

Glentoran Women lead the way with a two point advantage over current champions Cliftonville Ladies, with the pair scheduled to battle it out on the final day of the season at the Blanchflower Stadium.

Linfield Women are also still in contention, albeit a few points further adrift, while Lisburn Rangers complete the Section A line-up.

Section B comprises of Crusaders Strikers, Derry City Women, Lisburn Ladies and Larne Women.

The NI Football League can also confirm that no Championship club has met the criteria for promotion into the Premiership next season so the status quo will remain with no relegation this term.
