CONGRATULATIONS to Lisburn’s Hannah Craig on winning her first Professional Squash Association (PSA) title, the Paraguay Open in South America.

Hannah’s final victory over Colombia’s Lucia Bautista propels the former Strathearn and Harvard student up to 76th in the PSA women’s world rankings.

Hannah said afterwards: “I am thrilled to capture my first PSA title at the Paraguay Open. Huge thanks to everyone at Squash Paraguay for the warm welcome and for hosting such an unforgettable event.

“One year ago, I made a difficult decision to leave my career at Arthur D. Little to fully commit to squash. I came to realise that every path comes with its own sacrifices and struggles, but it’s up to you to decide what’s most worth struggling for. This title is for everyone who pushes, supports, and challenges me daily to pursue what I love most.”
